Gardenia yellow is a natural edible pigment extracted from the dried and mature fruits of the Rubiaceae plant Gardenia by using a unique high-tech production process. Gardenia grows in China, Japan, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, India, Nepal, Pakistan, Pacific Islands and Northern America. Generally, it blooms from May to June, and the fruit matures in late October.
